If you spend a lot of time overthinking, second‑guessing yourself or feeling overwhelmed, you are not alone.

Many confidence struggles show up quietly in our thoughts and bodies, shaping how we move through the day and what feels possible. We may look like we are coping on the outside, while feeling uncertain or on edge inside.

The COMFORTABLE CONFIDENCE Workshop is a guided, in‑person experience for adults of all genders who want to feel steadier, calmer and more trusting in themselves.

This is not about performing confidence or pushing yourself to change. It is about reconnecting with the confidence that is already there and learning how to access it with more ease.

WHAT THE WORKSHOP INVOLVES

This workshop takes a whole‑person approach to confidence, working with both mind and body so change feels grounded and sustainable rather than forced.

Each session includes:

COACHED, GUIDED CONFIDENCE EXERCISES: Practical coaching tools to support self‑trust, emotional steadiness and clarity, with prompted journaling and reflection to help you make sense of what is coming up for you.

SHARING CIRCLE AND GROUP COACHING: A facilitated, supportive space to explore confidence challenges, gain perspective and experience the reassurance and insight that comes from shared experience.

MEDITATION AND MIND-BODY INTEGRATION: A calming close using guided meditation and somatic awareness to help settle the nervous system and integrate what you have explored.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH

Participants leave the workshop with:

  • Practical confidence tools that can be used in everyday life

  • Insight and reassurance through group coaching and shared discussion

  • A take‑home workbook to continue reflection and learning after the session

  • 50% off a 1:1 coaching session, should you wish to explore things further in a more personal way

WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR

The Comfortable Confidence Workshop is suitable for:

  • Adults of all genders

  • People experiencing self‑doubt, overthinking or confidence dips

  • Those navigating change, transitions or periods of uncertainty

  • Anyone interested in wellbeing, personal growth and emotional resilience

No previous coaching experience is needed. Everything is guided and optional, and you are always free to participate at your own pace.

ABOUT THE COACH

The workshop is led by Gemma Cousins, ICF‑accredited confidence coach and founder of Core Coaching.

Gemma brings over 20 years of professional acting experience alongside accredited coaching training and extensive work supporting both adults and young people to develop sustainable, grounded confidence.

Her approach blends coaching, reflection and embodied practices to support confidence that feels natural and steady, rather than performative or pressured.

SMALL, SUPPORTIVE GROUPS

Workshops are intentionally kept small, usually with a maximum of 10 participants, to allow for depth, connection and individual attention within the group.

This creates a space that feels personal, supportive and emotionally safe.

RETURNING PARTICIPANTS

If you have attended a Comfortable Confidence workshop before, you will not be repeating the same experience.

Each workshop is shaped by the people in the room and the conversations that emerge. The exercises, focus and group coaching evolve each time, meaning there is always something new to discover about yourself and how your confidence shows up.

VENUES AND DATES

The Comfortable Confidence Workshop runs at different venues across Greater Manchester and Cheshire and may return to the same venue more than once depending on demand.
