WORKSHOPS

My popular small-group workshops offer a powerful space for self-discovery, connection and growth. Each session is a chance to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself in a safe, nurturing and gently challenging environment.

Workshops last around 2 - 3 hours and are kept intimate (usually 10–15 participants) to ensure a high-quality, personalised experience.

Held in private, welcoming venues across Greater Manchester, each workshop is led by me, Gemma Cousins ACC, an accredited Confidence Coach and proud member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), known for my grounded, compassionate and practical approach.

My in-person confidence workshops for community groups, wellbeing spaces and organisations explore different aspects of confidence

Sometimes we focus on the more internal side of things, how you support yourself and regulate what’s going on for you. Sometimes it’s about being present with others. And sometimes it’s about stepping forward and being seen and heard.

Then there’s Comfortable Confidence, which brings it all together. It’s my flagship workshop and a really good place to start. We explore how your confidence moves across these different spaces, and how to find a sense of presence that feels natural, rather than something you have to force.

All workshops are open to adults of all genders (18+) and are delivered in a calm, inclusive and supportive way, with a focus on both emotional wellbeing and practical tools. Workshops can be booked as a standalone session or as a short series.

Workshops are delivered in a supportive group format and typically include:

  • coached guided journalling

  • reflective discussion and group coaching

  • practical tools participants can use beyond the session

  • physical techniques and exercises to explore confidence in the body, breath and voice

If you’d like to discuss bringing one or more of these workshops to your community or organisation, please get in touch via the contact page.

NEXT WORKSHOP

HOLD THE ROOM
For coaches, facilitators and anyone holding space for others, exploring the unseen skills of facilitation, including presence, pacing, voice and generating a specific energy in the space you are in.

15/04/26, 6.30-8.30PM, ONLINE

My approach blends coaching, reflection and embodied practices, drawing on my background as an actor and a long-standing interest in how we stay present, even when self-doubt and nerves are there. So confidence isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something you actually experience in your body and in real-life moments."

protected confidence

Protected Confidence is about reconnecting with who you are underneath self-doubt, people-pleasing and external expectations.

This workshop supports participants to explore their values, inner strengths and personal identity, helping them build confidence that feels grounded and authentic rather than performative.

It also offers space to reconnect with rest. In a world that often keeps us switched on, we explore what it means to pause, reset and support yourself before reaching your limit.

Through coached guided exercises, reflection and group discussion, participants begin to strengthen self-trust and develop a clearer sense of what matters to them and how they want to show up in their lives.

This workshop is particularly helpful for people who feel disconnected from themselves, unsure of their direction or stuck in patterns of comparison and self-criticism.

PROTECTED is about coming back to yourself and knowing you’re supported there.

present confidence

PRESENT focuses on confidence in real-time moments… in conversations, interactions and the relationship between you and the world around you.

This workshop supports participants to become more aware of what’s happening for them as it’s happening. Using grounding and mindful practices, we anchor attention in the present moment so it’s easier to stay connected rather than getting pulled into overthinking or self-consciousness.

We explore how your strengths show up in interaction and how to use them more intentionally, alongside understanding your boundaries… where you begin and end in relation to others, and how to hold that with clarity and ease.

Participants also develop skills in active listening and clear communication, including tone, pacing and adapting to different environments, so they can express themselves in a way that feels both effective and natural.

PRESENT supports people to feel more at ease with others, able to stay present, respond in the moment and communicate clearly, without losing themselves in the process.

It's about staying with yourself while being with others.

projected confidence

PROJECTED supports participants to build confidence in being seen and heard… whether in meetings, presentations, creative spaces or everyday conversations.

This workshop works with voice, breath, posture and body awareness alongside mindset and emotional responses, helping you feel more comfortable expressing yourself without forcing confidence or trying to hide nerves.

Drawing on both coaching and my background in acting, we explore how to stay present while speaking, so your voice feels clear, your message lands, and you’re not pulled off course by self-doubt.

Participants develop a sense of how to use their voice and body in a way that feels natural and adaptable, allowing them to respond to different environments while still feeling like themselves.

PROJECTED is ideal for people who want to feel more confident speaking up, sharing ideas, presenting, or taking up space in a way that feels grounded and authentic.

It’s about being seen and heard without losing yourself in the process.
