TEEN COACHING
1-1 coaching gives young people the space to uncover their confidence, understand themselves more deeply and navigate school, home and friendships with greater self-trust.
Growing up can be exciting, challenging and, at times, overwhelming.
Young people today face pressures from school, friendships, social media, family life and the expectations they place on themselves. Sometimes those pressures begin to affect their confidence, relationships or sense of who they are.
Coaching provides a calm, supportive space where they can slow down, make sense of what's going on and develop the confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for them.
A THINKING PARTNERSHIP
Teen coaching is a collaborative process.
Rather than giving advice or telling young people what they should do, I encourage curiosity, self-awareness and independent thinking. Together we explore what's getting in the way, what matters most to them and how they can begin to trust themselves more.
The aim isn't to have all the answers.
It's to help young people develop the confidence and self-trust to find their own.

THE COMFORTABLE CONFIDENCE APPROACH
Everything I do is guided by the Comfortable Confidence Approach.
I don't believe confidence is something young people either have or don't have. I believe it's something they can uncover as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
Through thoughtful conversations, practical coaching tools and gentle challenge, we explore the patterns, beliefs and experiences that shape how they think, feel and respond.
As their self-awareness grows, so does their confidence to navigate everyday life with greater self-trust.
Teen coaching may be helpful if your young person is...
-
Feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
-
Struggling with confidence or self-esteem.
-
Finding friendships difficult.
-
Worrying about school, exams or the future.
-
Becoming increasingly self-critical.
-
Finding it difficult to communicate how they feel.
-
Wanting to feel more comfortable being themselves.
Young people don't need to have everything figured out before they come to coaching. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough.
WHAT TO EXPECT
-
We begin with a free 45-minute discovery session, giving both parent and young person the opportunity to ask questions, understand how coaching works and decide whether it feels like the right fit.
-
Parents are very welcome to be part of the whole conversation. However, I do ask to spend at least the final 15 minutes with the young person on their own. This gives them the chance to experience what coaching feels like in a safe, supportive environment and helps us both decide whether we'd work well together.
-
If you choose to continue, sessions are tailored to your young person's individual needs and goals. Coaching offers a confidential space where they can think freely, develop practical skills and build greater confidence in themselves and the decisions they make.
-
Parents remain an important part of the journey. Where appropriate, we work together to support progress while respecting the young person's privacy and independence.
